Planning for the 2022 season in Harewood Park has begun. Here are some community updates:
Our first community meeting is on 2/16 at 7pm. We have a lot to go over as far as spring improvements to the grounds and building, and we will start the committee for our "2022 Summer Kick Off". This is a very important fundraiser, and we need all of the help we can get. Our events have proven to be a huge success, and its fun participating and getting to know the neighbors.
If you want to be on the board, you must attend the February meeting to sign up. You must also be a 2022 member, so get your applications in. We ask you attend most meetings since we can not vote on things without everyone there. We did make some exceptions last year because of COVID, but this year we need board members to attend most, if not all meetings.
Tee Shirts are on sale! Here are some pictures. They will be on sale at the meeting and at events. They are $20 a piece.
A big thank you to Lindsey for raising $1000 selling Super Bowl blocks. Here is the sheet if you participated. We will be opening the hall for Super Bowl on 2/13
A St Patricks Day celebration will be held on 3/19. We have an Irish band and Jimmy's Famous Seafood coming. More details coming!
We also want to send our condolences to the Butrim and Henninger family. Paul Butrims in-laws are long time Harewood Residents. Paul was one of the firefighters who lost their lives in the fire in Baltimore City. Harewood Park donated to the Go Fund Me account for the firefighters. We are so very sorry for your loss.
