HPCL Fall 2024 Highlights

Hello Everyone. We hope everyone had a wonderful summer and ready for some fall fun!

Wednesdays;

Farmers Market 5:30-7:00 Come and get some delicious local produce!

Fall is here and the Market is now selling mums, pumpkins and cornstalks!

October;

10/16   7:00 Community Meeting

10/26   7:30-12:30 5th Annual Adult Halloween Party (refer below for additional detail)

10/27   5:00 HPCL Halloween Family, Pup & Cart Parade 10/27 (including annual Golf Cart competition!) (refer below for additional detail)

November;

 11/15   Bingo (and collection of non-perishable food item to support local pantry).

HPCL Halloween Family, Pup & Cart Parade

We will meet at the community hall at 5:00 for the parade/golf cart contest.

The parade will begin at dusk. Feel free to wear all of your gear to light up the night, HPCL will also provide glow sticks. So far, we have received donations of the physical bags for the kids goodie bags and dog treat bags.

We are still in need of: 

- Candy and bag stuffings for the kid’s bags- we want to fill 100 bags to stuff with tricks and treats!

- doggie treats-we want to fill 50 bags.

(any leftover bags will be donated)

Please plan to donate by Friday 10/18 so that we have time to stuff the bags.

There will be 3 winning categories for the Golf Cart parade this year. Each category will have 3 qualifying criteria with a score based on a scale of 0-5. Highest score per category wins the prize for that category. 

The judging criteria for participating carts are as follows: 

Note; 2023.s winners cannot repeat their same themes/décor if they are planning on entering the competition.
