Harford County Meeting
Tuesday, May 7th, there will be a hearing on a bill (24-011) that increases fines and makes them mandatory. It also decreases the amount of land that can be disturbed (stripped bare) at one time to 20 acres. Thanks to Councilmember Dion Guthrie for this. Can't make it? Email!

Harewood Park Dumpster Day
Mark your calendar for Dumpster Day!
Saturday May 18 7:00am-11:00am at the Community Center.
The Dumpsters are being provided by Baltimore County as part of the Community Clean Up Program.
The Event is open to ALL RESIDENTS OF HAREWOOD PARK regardless of their membership in the HPCL.
Be prepared to unload your items and place them in the dumpsters.
We are required to abide by Baltimore County restrictions. The guidelines below were provided by Baltimore County outlining UNALLOWABLE items;
UNALLOWABLE ITEMS;
· Explosive or Flammable Material
· Acids, Caustics, Pesticides Chemicals
· Medical/Radioactive Waste/Special (asbestos)
· Any Liquid or Paint
· Automobile parts/frames
· Drums of Tanks (unless cut in half, cleaned and flattened)
· Animal Carcasses
· Chemical/petroleum spill clean up materials or sewage sludge
· Concrete pieces (greater than 18” in size)
· Pick up truck caps (or boats or campers)
· Large Stumps (36” wide 12” tall)
· Wood/Logs/Railroad ties greater than 8 inch in diameter and/or 6 feet in length
· Large Items that cannot handled manually
· Large Metal Items (including appliances)
· Tires
· Scheduled Picked Up Recyclables, Paper, Yard Waste, Plastics, Glass Containers, Rubble, Electronics
We will be accepting metal items. A metal detector will be available to use as well. Cousins Hauling & Cleanout Inc will be joining us at the Community Center to collect metal items (Example; small household appliances, old tools, lawn equipment, metal shelving, metal bedframes)
